Stainless steel coatings

CMB has specialized in the construction of iron structures completely covered in stainless steel for use in corrosive and food environments.

Inox integral structures

We are able to operate with the highest quality for the realization of integral structures in stainless steel AISI 304-316, both on customer's design and on internal design. In the photo an example of the realization of a suction box for the paper industry.

Iron constructions of various kinds

Medium-heavy iron constructions for different industrial kinds, both on customer's design and on internal design, with the possibility of checks and certification of the materials used and weldments.

Submerged Arc Welding

The Submerged Arc Welding (SAW - Submerged Arc Welding according to the AWS terminology) involves formation of an arc between a continuously-fed wire arc electrode, this process using a flux to generate protective gases and slag. The general morphology of the weld zone (that is, the arc pops under the slag) allows to generate a large amount of heat which, being shielded by slag, this last being bad thermal conductor, remains localized in the welding bath.

Welding

Our skilled personnel, qualified by the Italian Welding Institute, can perform MIG, TIG Welding according to the UNI-EN 287-1 standard. In addition, at CMB we have welding procedures for various types of materials such as, for example, the S355J2G4 with -40 degree resilience value.
